Behind the Scenes: How We Build Vodou

Vodou is developed publicly on GitHub, which means the day-to-day work — commits, discussions, and decisions — is visible to anyone who wants to follow along. Under the hood, it's a single Python application built with PyQt6 on top of Qt WebEngine, with most individual features (the password vault, tracker blocking, cookie handling, and so on) living in their own module rather than one monolithic file.
